New Creatives is a partnership between CTS, BBC Arts and Arts Council England. We have produced over 90 films, radio programmes and interactive projects by emerging South West artists for TV broadcast, iPlayer and BBC Sounds.

New Creative writing talent has already gone on to greater success. Zia Holloway (Burn Your Wishes) is now represented by writer’s agents Casserotto, Miles Sloman (Anoraks) is part of the BBC Writers Room initiative, and Pierre Nyongira bagged the 2021 RWA prize, the first time in 150 years this was awarded to a film.
