CTS working with DEFRA

Calling The Shots worked with a team of young filmmakers from the Blue School in Wells as part of a filmmaking initiative funded by DEFRA's Climate Change Fund. 'Think Or Swim' brought together CTS and other local organisations like Knowle West Media Centre, Suited & Booted, and the Engine Room with professional communicators of climate change issues, Create Centre (.

 

 

 

The six organisations worked with young people to develop short films to be used as cultural drivers within their community, and as tools for engaging with otherwise hard to reach audiences.

 

Calling The Shots delivered a series of workshops focusing on sustainable energy and climate change alongside filmmaking, facilitating through from idea development to post production.

 

 

 

'The Energy Team' was screened at Bristol's Festival of Nature 2007. All the films are then going 'on tour' around the South West and screened free of charge to public audiences.
