Second Light

We have been working on a new project called ‘Second Light Bristol’ which involves ten young people from the Bristol area with a black and minority ethnic background.

 

Second Light Bristol is a year long project with the aim to help the group of young people understand some of the reasons why BME communities are under represented in the media industry.

 

We hope the project will support and encourage the young people to progress into employment within the media industry.

 

Since we’ve started, the group have made two documentaries, First Responses and AED, both of which are about essential life saving techniques.

 

 

 

We're planning to work closely with many different organisations such as BBC Bristol, Films @ 59 and Panalux. Second Light is delivered in association with Firstborn Creatives.
