Full House 2009 - Film Exchange Project

Calling the Shots Showreel screenshotAlex and Steve recently spent ten days in Hanover on the shoot of Full House, our on-going three-nation youth filmmaking project. Full House tells the story of four young people who find themselves in a hostel for runaways in Hanover.

The story uses the experiences of their journeys to explore young people's attitudes to migration in Europe.

The teams are made up of 15 young people, a professional filmmaker and a youth leader. Steve from CTS is the UK filmmaker, supporting the group to devise, write, shoot, act and edit the final product alongside his German and Polish counterparts.

The film, devised in Bristol during the first leg of the project, tells the story of Agata and Jarek, two teenage 'euro-orphans' who set off on a journey to find their parents who are working in Germany. Along the way they meet Lilly from Bristol and Christa from Hanover who each bring their own perspectives to the story about life in a Europe without borders.

Come back soon for an update on the films completion…
