Full House Premieres in Poland

Alex and Steve have been back on the road with the Full House project, this time visiting our Polish partners on the project with a week in Posnan.

The project was filmed in Hanover in Germany and edited back at CTS HQ in Bristol.   The trip to Poland saw the CTS team working on supporting materials and ‘behind the scenes’ documentaries about the project.

Full House set out to explore young people’s attitudes to migration and the free movement of labour in modern Europe. As well as making the film, the young people engaged with the issue of ‘Euro-Orphans’; a consequence of adults moving abroad for work and leaving their children in the care of other relatives.

If, as often happens, that relationship breaks down, then the young people are left without supervision and ‘orphaned’.

Full House recently had its UK premiere as part of Encounters Young People’s Film Festival in Bristol.
